66 members of the young messenger group from west China for Beijing 2008
Olympic mascot were attending a starting-off ceremony on Nov. 7th in
Lanzhou, Gansu province. The release of Beijing Olympic mascot and the
one thousand days countdown before the opening of Olympics will fall on
Nov. 11th, when 100 young messengers from 12 provinces and cities in west
China will, one to one and hand in hand with Beijing children, express
their best wishes for the 1000 days countdown and witness the release of
the Beijing Olympic mascot.
