Xinjiang wirewalker challenged Guinness world record

From Sept.1st to Oct.8th, 2005, Abulaiti Maijun, an acrobat of a Xinjiang
acrobatic troupe, succeeded in challenging the Guinness world record of
Dawazi (in Uygur means high-altitude wire walking) and stayed on the wire
for 38 days and survived. At the same time, he also set five new Guinness
world records. Pictured, the wire, 316 meters in length and 2.5
centimeters in diameter, was set 28 meters above the lake surface.
