Cicada larvae sell well in Shandong

(July 2nd) There is a cicada larva market that stretches more than 800
meters on Tanzhong Road in Shandong's Tancheng. At day break every day,
peddlers from everywhere carry cicada larvae to the market for sale. The
market thereby forms naturally. It is learned that cicada larvae is rich
of protein and its skin can be used as a traditional Chinese medicine to
cure eye diseases.
